A Great Day and Catch Up!

Today has been a great day for three reasons:
1) No School Today
2) Get to spend the day with Dallas
3) Got to talk to the girl in the middle, since we have both gotten married and busy with life it has been hard to talk, but today we finally did and it was great to talk, even if it wasn't very long.

A quick catch up on what has been going on with us!! Dallas and I have been very busy with school, and going to work! It seems like we are always on the go, especially me! I am working at a preschool during the week a long with still going to my other job. But the preschool is run by my boss's wife, so I still get the same amount of hours I just have to go from one place to the next. I am really enjoying the preschool, I love love love the kids they are add humor to my work day!! I love my life though, and wouldn't trade or give anything up...except maybe work and just have endless money! haha!
Valentines Weekend:
Dallas and I thought it would be fun to get away for Valentines Day, a silly holiday, but I still love it! Here are some pictures from our fun weekend
We stayed at Little America, I love hotels, there is something about knowing you don't have to make the bed the next morning.
On our way to dinner Dallas decided he didn't want to stop at a red light (it was a blinking red light around construction, and nobody else was around) so he ran it, not noticing a cop was watching his every move! A 90 dollar mistake!
We stayed over a Saturday to a Sunday and thought it would be great to go visit the Salt Lake Temple. We walked all around and went inside the visitors center, and even toured the conference center!

Last week was our spring break! I was so busy with school work but I really wanted to go someplace! We decided to spend the weekend in Park City; still got away without driving too far! This was by far the funnest weekend! We had so much fun, we told each other that we were not even going to talk about school, work, or anything "serious" haha, it was such a fun light-hearted weekend!!

Dallas being silly on Main Street in Park City! I love walking into their shops, looking around, trying things on, knowing we cannot afford anything inside the store! It is amazing just to watch all the different people, many who are so so so so rich!!

Dallas and I ate at Baja Cantina, a place we told each other we did not want to eat at, because we wanted to try something different. Baja Cantia is our fallback, but this is where we ended up! haa!

Of course had to get a chocolate covered apple!! DELICIOUS!!
We went swimming our hotel, they had a hot tub outside, it felt so nice! Just like a warm bathtub!! It was still pretty chilly at Park City, so the hot tub felt soooo good!! And can you believe this is the first time Dallas and I have ever gone swimming together? It seems like every time we go someplace we are always busy with something else! But this was our favorite part of the weekend!

Then this last Tuesday we went to the Ogden Temple with some friends. It was so nice to get away to the temple, we don't do that often enough. This may be our last time inside the Ogden Temple looking like it does! It is kinda sad to think that our Temple is going to be close for 2.5 years!

Thanks Megan and Josh for making us go with you!!

Introducing Baby Tatum

On Saturday Dallas's brothers wife (my sister-in-law? Dallas and I have been having a debate whether or not that is our actual relation to each other, ha!) had her first baby girl! She is so cute! We drove up to Logan and visited both of them in the hospital...it was so fun to see her finally and hold her! She is 6 little pounds! It was fun to see Dallas and his family around the little baby! This is the first little baby in Dallas's family in about 12 years, so its fun! Congratulations Dustin and Wendi!! :D

Grandma Dana, she just couldn't get enough of her!

Grandpa Dave and Grandma Dana, oh how they love her!!

The happy parents and grandparents!

Dustin and Wendi and Baby Tatum! Their first family picture!

I love love love this picture of Dallas! He loved holding her and just got the biggest smile on his face! He'll make a great daddy!

Life

I have had this quote running through my head for the past few days....but it has my little twist on it (because of the day its probably more of a negative twist than positive, sorry!)
"When life gives you lemons, try your best to make lemonade!"
and boy has it seemed that life has handed us a few lemons lately! I'm tempted to find a cave and hid for about two years until I graduate...wouldn't it be nice if my life and work continued while I was in hiding? Where is that genie for my three wishes ha!
