I was working at Sew N Save in the morning when his mom came in. She quickly started talking about how none of her boys are married but they are at marriage age, and she wants to have a daughter! Ladies I work with love to se me up, they have so much fun! His mom got my name and phone number and talked to me for a second telling me that he is shy and doesn't have many girl's who are friends (sounds like a dork huh?) and she was going to bring him in to meet me...LITTLE DID I KNOW IT WAS THE NEXT DAY! haha, I was so nervous! I saw him check me out, and then his mom pulled him to talk to me! awkward for a second and then we hit it, he said he would call me, but because I wanted him to, I had a feeling he wouldn't! I thought about him for a few days...please please please call me, I would think! I told my family and friends about this gorgeous guy I met at Sew N Save...they laughed! He called me a few days later, and I didn't answer but when I heard his message (standing in line for the Spider at Lagoon) I started to scream, no way did he really call me! I got nervous and didn't call him back, and he tried me again and I was again at work, ladies at work were prompting me to call him...take a break and go to talk to him! I was so nervous and had butterflies in my tummy and after work I called! we talked for one hour straight and laughed and got to know each other! The first thing that attracted me to Dallas was his laugh, he has the most gorgeous laugh ever! We set up our first date for the next day, lets just say I didn't sleep that night!
Our first date: I told him I love the outdoors and he chose to go minature golfing over at Cherry Hill in Fruit Heights, that was so much fun! We were both horrible and just had the time of our life! We got some ice cream and sayt and we talked and talked and talked....about everything and about nothing! The night was great and we set up our next date! He didn't walk me to the door, but he got in a lot of trouble from his father! My mom asked me to tell her about him, all I had to tell her was random things! I didn't know where he worked, where he went to school...if he went...I knew nothing of informational value! Even though we spent the whole night talking, I knew his favorite movie, what he liked to do, his favorite ice cream flavor and stuff like that! I was worried after our date that he wouldn't really want to go out with me because I talked so much, but I was sitting in my summer institute class when he text me and put the biggest smile on my face!
Dallas is my pride and joy, my best friend, he has become everything a best friend or boyfriend could be! Although it has only been 2 1/2 months, I feel like I have known him forever! I love that feeling! I can tell him everything, from stupid embarassing moments to my deep dark secrets! I know that he trusts me and he tells me his secrets! We are huge dare devils who love to just go out and have fun, but we are good just sitting down and talking and watching a movie! Dallas makes me believe in myself, he makes me smile. His kisses and hugs when things are not going good just tell me that everything will be okay, because I am wrapped in his arms! It is amazing that so much can come from a simple kiss, or a nice bear hug! My family loves him, he makes everyone around him just forget their worries and have a fun time! He has so many funny sayings such as "this is awkward" or "That sucks" and the best "I'm doing my squat thrusts" haha nobody but us gets that! He is my best friend, I don't know what is going to happen with us but I hope and pray that one day we become eternal companions!
