Life's What Ya Make It

Wow summer really is flying by and I can't believe it is almost July! We have been busy and having so much fun just trying to cool down from the summer heat and enjoying each others company! I love being with my best friend ALL THE TIME!!!
A couple of weekends ago we decided we wanted to go camping, we didn't have a tent so we went and bought a 4 person tent and find a place to go camping! We wanted to stay close to home because this year is a really bad allergy year for Dallas and we didn't want to drive too far just in case he ended up needing to come home. On Saturday we went to the grocery store and bought enough food to pretty much feed an army and I made our tin foil dinners at home, and by 2:30 we were all packed and ready to go!! We found a campground in Huntsville and that is where we were headed! I was so excited to go, it has been so long since we have been camping and I LOVE BEING OUTDOORS!!! We got up to Huntsville and I realized I forgot to bring the directions, so we were trying to go off of memory, it didn't work! We decided to go back towards SouthFork (by his cabin) and see if there were any open spots. As we were driving there were 2 rocks in the middle of the road, we couldn't stop because of cars behind us and we could swerve because of cars in the other lane and we hit one sharp rock; that put Dallas in a grumpy mood that something could have happened to his car! We got to a campground and found it was 16.00 per night, we didn't have enough cash on hand to pay that so we decided just to go home! I was bummed, we were all packed up and ready to go but nothing seemed to be working in our favor! Sweet Dallas still made sure we went "camping" he set up our tent in our living room and we camped out there! We had so much fun!!
Setting up the tent, I just took pictures! :D
I think Morley was pretty happy we stayed home!
It ended up being a good thing we didn't go camping, on Sunday I got sick and didn't feel like doing anything! Dallas while fishing got a feverblister and because I love kissing him, I caught it too! I went to the doctor last Tuesday thinking I had strep throat, but the test showed I didn't but, I still felt pretty yucky! I still have the ugly cold sore...it is being really stubborn and just won't go away; but I feel a lot better! Then this last weekend it was South Ogden Days and Jack Ingram was coming to town and putting on a concert...and it was FREE, so why not go! I like some of his music and I didn't realize how funny he is! We had a lot of fun hanging out and watching all the interesting people! It was a full on carnival!!
Jack Ingram is on stage...somewhere! And a girl fixing her hair...so glad I have that as a memory! haha!
DELICIOUS FUNNEL CAKE!! TOPPED WITH RASPBERRIES AND TONS OF WHIPPED CREAM!
Overall these past two weeks haven't even gone close to as planned but we have had a lot of fun doing other things and just being grateful that we live in a state where there is so much to do, just because we couldn't go camping when we wanted doesn't mean we can't try it again...and next time be much more prepared! Life is what you make it...and I want to make the most out of it!!!
