Head Over Heels

READER BEWARE:
THIS POST MAY BE A LITTE MUSHY GUSHY!

Yesterday (March17th) I finally understood the term what it means to be "Head Over Heels" in love,I think it is a silly phrase because isn't your head ALWAYS over your heels?
This week is spring break, a week of fun, a week of endless sun, and spending time on the beach holding hands with your significant other right?? haha I wish that was the case for me! But I have spent my time working, working, and working and that is what I planned on doing all a long! The reason? Dallas and I are moving and we will have to pay double rent for this coming month plus on top of that a significantly high deposit; but I am excited to move and have a bigger place to live. So working a lot this week was just the plan and I wasn't planning on anything different. Dallas has surprised me a couple of times this week with just some simple inexpensive fun things to do! Tuesday at 10 p.m. Dallas and I went bowling at FatCats, endless bowling for only $6.99! We had so much fun, and we bowled clear up until midnight and I lost every single game...but for some reason I didn't mind I was just having fun!! Then yesterday was the one day I didn't work, but my plan was to spend my time packing up the house and getting a pretty big head start because Dallas had school until 3 that afternoon...why not pack?!?!? Again sneaky him, he surprised me at home right after work! He took off school and spend the WHOLE day with me!! We rode frontrunner to SLC and then hopped onto trax and went to Sandy and ate at the Mayan! It was a blast the whole entire day!! Trax in downtown is always an experience...we ran into some "iffy" people, but Dallas would just put his arm around me, hold me close and make me laugh by making fun of those people! I was squeezing his hand so tight I left marks on his hand from my nails, sorry babe!!
Okay so back to the point of the post..."Head Over Heels" While Dallas and I were on our way back from eating and we were talking and I was talking in my newly acquired language Dallas calls "crazinese" and being really silly I asked Dallas if he was getting sick of being with me ALL THE TIME and he looked at me and said, "I would have NEVER married anyone I would get sick of, your the one who makes the time worthwhile!" (you have to know its not really like Dallas to SAY such cute things, he is more a writer like me) That is what I love about being in love no matter how much time I spend with him, its like I never get tired of being with him and when I'm not with him, I spend time thinking about him and dying to go home to him!! So what does it mean to be, "Head Over Heels" this is what it means to me: Cartwheels, you are so excited you can't stop. You are upside down in love, you are so much in love that you don't know which end is up or which way is down; 4 words I thought of that describe our relationship is intense passionately; completely in love; impulsively doing things; and carelessly loving each other!!
I have married the most amazing and perfect man for me...he puts up with so much from him! Yes I annoy him sometimes, and we both have our quirks that drives the other crazy but I think it is those things and learning to except them makes me that much more "Head Over Heels" in love with this boy! I am so grateful he married me, and so grateful that he fell in love with me...someone was definitely watching over us! I love the Salt Lake Temple, it symbolizes for us our eternity! Being in Love makes each day worth living and going to to work makes me look forward to going home!! HEAD OVER HEELS I AM!!

Our Crazy Month

Things have been pretty crazy in the Berrett household this past month! Between work and school it has been hard to get a breath of fresh air, I am consistently thinking "I have to do this, or I have to do that" Instead of just taking a deep breath of fresh air and enjoying the moment! Work is getting a little better...or I am just getting used to it, but I can better endure everything that comes my way and I'm trying to remain positive! I had an interview to get into Weber State's education program...cross your fingers, I find out next week if I got in, I feel good about it but at the same time don't want to become too confident about it!
But my family suffered a tragic loss this past month, our dear pet Max passed away suddenly. He was the best dog, our family was very blessed to spend 10 years with him. Max made us love being outside! Max loved to play in the water, chase anything (frisbees, tennis balls, PVC pipe etc..) he loved to go mountain biking with my dad and anytime you said the word "walk" he turned his head and headed toward the door! My dad and him were best friends, and thanks to Max he kept my dad in shape! I remember that night my dad saying, "I don't know how I'll ever go mountain biking again" I hope he does!! He was the sweetest animal, I don't think he would ever hurt a fly! Our family is struggling, we loved this dear dog so very much!! We are so grateful he loved our home!

I love you Maxie!

I spent last Friday with my dad, I was feeling I needed some good daddy daughter time, so I took off work and spent the day with him! I LOVE MY DADDY!! We found a dog!! Her name was Sasha but we changed it to Shasta! She came from Wyoming and so far she is a cutie! My dad madee a list of all the things that Max did that she doesn't! But I think we give her time, I think she'll be a perfect fit!!

Then Dallas and I have a new addition to our family, we adopted a cute little kitty, Morley! She is a lot of fun and has big personality! We found her at PetSmart and I feel in love! I'm animal lover I guess! She knows what time Dallas gets up in the morning and goes right over to his pillow and starts purring...meaning she wants food! She loves to look stare out of our window watching people!
Dallas and Morley
She loves jumping and climbing in our closet!
A couple weekends ago Dallas and I headed down on Front runner to the gateway to see "Dear John" (not recommended!!! I was disappointed in that love story!) We had so much fun hanging out that day! Dallas had never been on Frontrunner before so I thought he needed to experience it! We walked pretty much all around Downtown that day exploring the small shops seeing what you usually don't see when you drive downtown! Salt Lake city is a pretty cool place!! We ended the day eating at PF Chang's, delicious!

Inside the I MAX science museum, that's a pretty cool FREE place to go!

Then this past weekend, Ashley Falcon, our dear friend from Seattle came from BYU to spend the weekend with us! We had lots of fun with her, I miss her!

Ashley brought her Wii and we had lots of fun playing that and are now tempted to go out and buy us one! She brought her Dance Dance game, I am no pro dancer that is forsure, everyone even Dallas and my mom with a hurt foot beat me!! Oh well!
Dallas was actually pretty good, he got moves!!!

Then onto Boondocks playing arcade games and Skittle bowling!

Dallas and I at Boondocks
The two silliest girls, Macy and Ashley
Mom and her daughters haha
The family, Ashley fits right into the mix perfectly!
We were pretty silly!
Best friends and sisters forever!!

THAT WAS OUR MONTH!!! SPRING BREAK IS ALMOST HERE!
