Manti Pagent

This past Saturday Dallas and I were invited to go to the Manti Pagent with my cousin and her husband. I haven't been there since youth conference many years ago and Dallas hasn't ever seen the pageant. It was so much fun to spend time with Ashley, Justin, and Keaton. We don't get to talk to them very much since we both live in opposite directions, so this was a great time to play catch up! I got to play with Keaton who is growing up so fast, and he is getting such a cute personality. Ashley and I talked and talked and talked about several different things, and I loved that! And I'm still really sad I'm not going to Fish Lake with everyone (sorry side note) We ate at this delicious burger bar in Manti, they had delicious curly fries. We need to get together more often because it was a lot of fun!

Look at that adorable baby boy, he is so stinking cute! Makes me want one, real, real bad!!!

Justin, Ashley, and KEaton! Thank you for inviting us to tag a long, I loved it!!!

The pageant was really really good and you could definitely feel the spirit! I loved watching the story of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young and being reminded of everything they went through. I loved watching the Book of Mormon stories, and made me want to start reading the Book of Mormon from the beginning again. We were really hoping to run into my friend Ashley who is serving a mission in this area, my mom heard the sister missionaries were supposed to be at the pageant on Saturday. After Justin asking the missionaries for us they said they weren't coming I got really sad cause I was really hopeful to see her! We got home late at night, like 3:30 a.m. but it was totally worth the trip!

Macy's High School Graduation

I really can't believe that my little sister has graduated from High School, time goes by way to fast! I think she was thinking about time. Dallas and I were able to attend her graduation of 750 students....WOW!!! My camera was acting up right when I was trying to take her picture of her accepting her diploma. But we were able to get lots of fun pictures afterwords.

The oh so proud high school grad!!

Grandpa and Grandma were able to attend as well, haha I was laughing as my grandpa kept nodding off!

"Go Macy Go"

Sisterly love right here, but this is our relationship right here....so anti-lovey!
After graduation we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and ate their heavenly rolls!!! It was a really fun day to talk with eveyone, and watch my little sister grow up! Macy's post-high school plans include having a lot of fun attending UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY!!! Its going to be sad to have her so far away, and not be able to stop home and see here whenever I want. But she's so exited to go away for school!!!

WHAT A GOOD DAY

This is not going to mean anything to anybody....but I'm so excited I still had to blog about it!

Here is a conversation I just had at work....
"Hey Kyla, are you doing something different? Following a new exercise plan? You are looking like you've lost weight!" (keep in mind this is a guy, and guys are usually not very observant.)
"No, not really, I've just been watching what I eat! And plus summer is a bonus cause I am outside a lot more, hiking, camping (even though I haven't gone yet), and other random things!" and the conversation goes on and on for a couple of minutes!!
So eating chocolate (yup, chocolate) pudding or Yo-plait LIGHT yogurt everyday for lunch must be paying off....go ME!!!I still do eat pizza (had it for dinner cause it was FREE...go Dallas and helping out his boss who so nicely bought HIM pizza, but he was sweat and shard with me!) I still have my Heaven sent ICE CREAM, but just in moderation and I've learned when to say... "NO MORE!" but seriously, that just made my day!
ONE MORE THING....... THAT BREAKS MY HEART!!! We aren't going to FISHLAKE with my WHOLE entire family!! I'm really really really really really (I could go on and on) sad. I have to work, covering the front reception desk, bah hum bug! I really wanted to sleep out under the stars, roast marshmallows, eat dutch oven, go fourwheeling, boating, hiking, be lazy and get really dirty, all CRAYTHORNE family traditions! But I have made Dallas promise me that we will GO next year, and make sure we plan ahead this time! (we both are famous for making last minute plans, but not working out because well...its last minute!) I guess I'll spend my day while everyone else is having A BLAST, at work, working! At least I have a job (trying to find the positive) haha! But I really hope EVERYONE has so much fun, even though WE'RE not there.
