What a Wonderful Time of the Year!!!

I can hardly believe that Christmas is already over! We work all month for this one day and then just like that it is over! But it was such a wonderful Christmas for both Dallas and I, and I love that I get to spend Christmas with my wonderful family and husband! We had a lot of fun Christmas eve and Christmas! We spent Christmas with my family this year and we laughed so hard, I loved it!! Christmas eve my mom made my favorite tortilla soup for dinner, drove around our traditional loop looking at Christmas lights, and got an early Christmas present from Santa Clause! We stayed awake until Christmas day, and went to bed to get a little cat nap in before time to open presents!!
Dallas got a new phone from his parents for Christmas, one word...ADDICTED! ha!

These are the presents Santa gave us, new pj's, bopit, and a cup game!

Us in the car...don't we look happy! ha!

Playing bopit to pass the time as we waited in line for the Layton lights.

Dallas and Macy had a competition going trying to beat each others high scores!!

Layton lights, we go each year! The lights never change but its fun to see them!

See Santa???

This is the cup game we got, its so fun! You have a ping pong ball and you pick a card and you try to bounce the ball the way the card says! This picture you try to throw the ball into the cup on top of your head! We all laughed so hard, it was hilarious!

My dad trying it!

This was so funny!

This picture is so funny! Macy, my dad, Dallas all put their glasses on their nose acting like nerds!

Family, we all love each other!!
Christmas morning was a blast and we were all spoiled! My dad got exactly what he wanted, gift cards to FYE and he was super excited! My mom got a kindle so she can read her books (she loves it!) Macy got lots of clothes, a jewelry armorer, and more stuff! Dallas got clothes, movies, movies, movies, and dress clothes! I was super spoiled not only by Santa but by my loving husband! He bought me three watches all because he didn't know what color matches best! I got the biggest loser for the Kinect (Dallas and I got that from my grandparents!) and lots of clothes. But my favorite is the Anne of Green Gables set I got...I cannot wait to watch them! Christmas we spent at both of my grandparents and it was a busy and fun day! One thing was missing though...the SNOW! :(
This is Christmas morning!

Dallas has been dying to get the seasons of family guy (I don't think that show is funny at all, but Dallas laughs and laughs...I don't get it!)

Macy got tons and tons of super cute clothes...we both got the same clothes from Santa! Thanks Santa :D

Mr. and Mrs. Clause! How cute!

After we opened all our presents we had a huge pile in the middle of the floor, we had fun playing in it!

Macy and Dallas playing the Kinect!

Us in our new Christmas clothes! Dallas and my dad both got a shirt that said, "If this shirt is not sweaty than I am not gaming hard enough!" oh brother!

Me and Ty....he is the happiest baby!

All the cousins and their new toys!

Dallas loves playing with my grandpas dog, Tag!

Dallas got a new Texas hoodie...about time!

And Morley...poor thing spent Christmas all by herself!

Oh and Dallas couldn't resist buying me a Dallas Cowboys purse! haha, I can't wait to use it!
On Sunday we spent the day with his family just hanging out! It was another busy and fun day! But of course I didn't take any pictures! Now time to bring on 2011...a year of who knows what :D haha!

Thank You Kind Man!

Today while I was driving back from Salt Lake for work I noticed the car was turning really weird. I got out of the car and looked at the tires and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, so I got back into the car and continued to drive! The turning grinding noise I heard earlier went away and I figured the car was back in normal working shape...boy was I wrong. While I was on the freeway the car kind of started to pull and I heard this really loud popping noise....there goes the tire! I pulled off the side of the freeway and looked and sure enough the tire was blown (this is the second time this has happened to me in the same company car!) I immediately called Dallas, who I knew would be unable to help because he was in Ogden but it always feels good to talk to him! I then called work and they said they would send some help....yup I'm that girl that has to have the guy change my tire; but after today I think I'm going to learn! As I sat there I hated every car that drove past me, as the car shook and shook! But I was talking to my mom telling her what happened when a car pulled in front of me, my mom warned me to be careful and only roll my window down a crack or two. The guy a tall guy with gray hair, dressed in levis and a polo shirt and probably in his 50's comes to my window and offers his assistance (if this is you, thank you thank you thank you!!) I told him I had help coming and he didn't need to stay, but he insisted and trusting my gut instincts I let him!  He changed the tire for me while asking me about what my job, school, husband, and the holiday season. I found out he lives in South Ogden just like me and just had son return home from his LDS mission in Rome (so jealous!!) He cut his hand in the process of changing poor little ol' me's tire, and had to use a sock to keep blood from getting all over! I never got this man's name so I can send him a thank you card, so this is the only way I can thank him! He saved my day and made me realize just a little more what the Christmas season is all about!
Merry Christmas Sir!!

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!
I love this time of year, Christmas time just has a feeling that no other holiday can bring! The tree is up and decorated, the stockings are hung, and the house smells of cinnamon; we are ready for Christmas!!! There are many reasons why I love Christmas! The snow, call me crazy but shoveling the snow is one of my favorite things to do! I have been sick for the past few weeks! One day while it was snowing I got up put on my coat and gloves and fought to get past Dallas to go and shovel...but he wouldn't let me! I love shopping and buying presents for family and friends, even if I really have no idea what to buy! But most important I love the meaning of Christmas, the birth of our savior, serving others who may be in need, and spending time with OUR family! I think that is really why I love the season! Last week we were able to attend with my family the First Presidency Christmas Devotional, that really invited the spirit of Christmas to be in our home, and see what we can do to help those around us!
I just finished school for this semester and am gearing up to go back in just a few weeks, and guess what??? I'll have a buddy joining me in the quest of school!! Dallas is starting his first semester at Weber State, i'm pretty excited!! We have been so busy each day it feels like we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off! We are both working hard and loving this time of year! Anyway I just wanted to write a quick post, even though it is boring without pictures!! I'm sure I'll have some after the Holidays!
